At the heart of our partnership is a shared commitment to making a tangible difference in our local communities. Since 2021, Froneri UK’s generous contributions have helped raise over £86,000 through joint fundraising initiatives, empowering us to expand our reach, in line with our mission to do as much as we can, for as many as we can, ensuring people living with terminal illness can live and die well, and we can support their friends, carers and family members.
This remarkable support has enabled us to offer more people the compassionate care they deserve during life’s most difficult moments. An example of this is reflected in the new Herriot Hospice@The Lambert facility that is soon to be open, offering the community a vital inpatient hospice facility, expanding the existing Herriot Hospice Homecare services in the town of Thirsk and the surrounding areas.
Froneri UK's dedication extends beyond financial contributions. Their employees have volunteered countless hours, with one of the most impactful moments being a large-scale gardening project that brought much-needed attention to our hospice gardens. Furthermore, Froneri UK has consistently provided their products, which have been used to bring comfort and joy to our patients and their families, brightening their days during what are challenging times.
