Saint Michael’s Advance Care Planning Service reaches 200 plans milestone

We’re proud that our Advance Care Planning Service has made over 200 advance care plans with people locally – a significant achievement following the launch of this support last summer.

The service – which sees us working with Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust as part of the wider Harrogate End of Life Planning Support Service (HELPSS) – supports people living with any palliative diagnosis across the Harrogate district to make choices about their future care.

This impact in such a short space of time means people locally can be cared for with their wishes in mind – something we know is so important to our community at the end of their lives.
