Ripon shop displays Christmas gifts handmade from recycled materials

Volunteers, staff and members of the local Ripon community have come together to create a thrifty gift window with fabulous items lovingly handmade from materials we were not able to sell.

Preloved presents this Christmas- the perfect way to help pounds go further, help protect the environment and help us provide our vital care and support!

Volunteers, staff and members of the local Ripon community have come together to create a thrifty gift window with all of the fabulous items here lovingly handmade from items we were not able to sell.

The crafts include special messages sharing our commitment to reducing waste and improving our environmental footprint- an important part of our charity’s dedication to building a positive future for our community. You can find out more at saintmichaelshospice.org/who-we-are/our-three-year-strategy.

By choosing your present at one of our Saint Michael’s shops, you also help us give the gift of care this Christmas, making a real difference to local families living with terminal illness and bereavement.

Polly Harvey, our Ripon shop manager said “We’re so grateful to everyone who has helped us put together this display by making beautiful crafts out of items which would otherwise have gone to waste.  We really value all our volunteers’ time and creativity in helping us communicate our aim to reduce, reuse and recycle this Christmas.”

Thank you so much to our incredible community for helping us put together this window and for supporting our shops- we are so grateful to our loyal and enthusiastic local customers.

If you enjoy seeing our Ripon and Knaresborough shops’ window displays, why not vote for them in the Charity Retail Association WOW Factor awards?
