This Friday at 6.30pm, we welcome all to join us for our Light up a Life service kindly led by the community of St Cuthbert’s Church, Pateley Bridge. The special event celebrates loved ones whose memories never leave us, while supporting local hospice care.
Come along for refreshments, music from St Cuthbert’s Church Choir as well as comforting readings and time for reflection. Share in the warmth, comfort and hope that Light up a Life brings.
At the heart of our Light up a Life services is the moment our community’s lights are illuminated. Add your personal tribute to our online tree today to help your loved one’s memory shine on: https://bit.ly/SaintMichaelsLight2022, or call us on (01423) 878 628. By making a gift, you can support our care in the community.
Portia Crewe, who has attended our services for seven years, shares what they mean to her:
“Since attending the first time, several friends and family now attend, and it has become a staple within our family’s calendar.
“The first Christmas without my dad was incredibly difficult, changing traditions that he would have normally been a part was tough. But placing the star I dedicated to him on our Christmas tree helped in feeling like he was there, watching over us all.
“Knowing that I can take a moment to remember my dad at Christmas, while supporting hospice care makes Light up a Life so special.“
On-street parking is available near St Cuthbert’s Church for this service.
Across the Harrogate district, we will also have services taking place in Ripon Cathedral on December 4 and at our Crimple House Hospice on December 11. Find out more on our Light up a Life page: Light up a Life
