Furniture upcycling demo at House&Home receives praise

Last week, we had great fun hosting a free furniture upcycling demo with local artist @Sarah Charneca. Here’s Sarah explaining what she shared.

Saint Michael’s supporter Amanda Hodges chatted with us about why she enjoyed coming along to our House&Home shop in Harrogate, learning new skills and finding creative ways to recycle furniture:

“It was really, really good because Sarah’s got a lot of experience. We got some great ideas.

“Having it at this shop is great because there is lots of furniture that would be just fantastic to take home and give a new lease of life.

“It’s a very good thing to do for the environment: instead of throwing old pieces away, give them a bit of love and attention and use them to cheer your house up!”
