Fundraisers host festive events to support care

Coffee Morning in aid of Saint Michael’s at St Paul’s United Reform Church, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, HG11EL.

A warm welcome is waiting – Christmas cards, information and refreshments available.

Wednesday November 23 and Thursday November 24 – 6.30-9.30pm

Luxury Wreath Making Workshop in aid of Saint Michael’s Hospice – with Jacqui and Pam at Claro House Visitor Centre, Allerton Waste Recovery Park, Knaresborough, HG5 0SD (Just off A168). Tickets £50 per person including all materials, and refreshments. Tel 07961 646869 or 07946 400710 to book – places limited to 20 per evening.

Saturday November 26, 7pm

Harrogate Male Voice Choir and Lyrical SoNGbirds from Nottingham present a joint concert of song at West Park United Reform Church, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 1EQ. Tickets: Adults £10 – call Lawrie Coulthard on 07905 515492 or cash payment on the night at the door. Children under 16 free.

Starbeck Christmas Lights Christmas Fair at St Andrew’s Church, High Street, Starbeck, crafts, gifts and cards –when Christmas tree lights up outside.

Visit Saint Michael’s table – with cards, crafts and gifts and information – we would love to see you there.

Friday December 2, 7pm start

Ripon Fundraising Group invite you to an evening Fashion Show with a difference! A whimsical look at fashion from the last 170 years. Come and join them at Ripon Bowling Club, Ripon Bowling Club, 26 Bondgate Green, Ripon HG4 1QW,

Friday December 2, 7.30pm

Fountains Fundraising Group presents: Christmas with the Highside Singers & members of the Summerbridge and Dacre Silver Band at Grantley Village Hall, Grantley, Ripon, HG4 3PJ.

Tickets £8 to include refreshments and there will be a raffle on the evening. Available from the Highside Singers Choir Members and Fountains Fundraising group Members on 01765 658243.

Saturday December 3, 10-5pm

Visit Saint Michael’s at their stall at the Knaresborough Christmas Market –centred around Knaresborough’s historic Market Place – enjoy a treat tree, Christmas cards and information. Be sure to also visit our charity shop also located in the market square.

Pop along to St John’s Church in Knaresborough to see our Christmas tree entry for 2023, The Saint Michael’s Tree of Care! This is a lovely event that will showcase the creative talents of the local community.
