Our Ripon store is a stunning array of beautifully curated clothes, books and homeware. Many of the team like Sandra and Denise have a personal link to our care. They say:

Volunteering opportunities

While our staff lead the way in managing our shops, we couldn’t do what we do without our incredible volunteers like Dorothy who we celebrated as part of Volunteers Week.

Retail Support Driver- apply now

You’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our charity shops running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a small hospice van between shops and our central hub
• Collecting bagged waste or rubbish from shop sites
• Moving stock, donations or display items between shops as needed
• Delivering cleaning products, materials or equipment to shop teams
• Supporting the retail team with light manual handling tasks
• Representing the hospice positively with shop teams and members of the public

This exciting role involves recruiting volunteers across fundraising and retail, working closely with key team members to understand volunteering needs, prepare role descriptions, promote opportunities, and manage the recruitment and onboarding process.
