Hospice and Healthcare Volunteer to Career

Here’s a special opportunity to have a taste of working at the heart of our hospice, while receiving expert training and close supervision from our team.

With flexible hours, you’ll have the chance to help us care for those staying on our inpatient unit and see if such a role could be for you.

We are looking for someone who is caring and empathetic, has good communication skills, is emotionally mature and can commit to 4hrs of volunteer time one day per week (between Monday- Friday) for 16 weeks.

You will be working alongside our clinical teams to create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients. Within the scope of your specialist training, you’ll make a difference to patients by supporting them with their individual needs.
