Saint Michael’s Lymphoedema Management Service can help minimise the effect the condition has on a person’s life.
Lymphoedema is a type of swelling that occurs when the body’s lymphatic drainage system becomes blocked or damaged.
Saint Michael’s offers specialist help and support to individuals living with terminal illness who are affected by this condition.
We help patients to understand their condition and offer treatment and advice on how they can successfully control their lymphoedema and minimise the effect it has on their life.
Saint Michael’s is the only organisation in the Harrogate District offering this service. We offer care for this condition from our community clinics. as well as our Hospice, at Crimple Valley, Harrogate.
If you feel you could benefit from the support offered by Saint Michael's Lymphoedema service, please speak to your GP or the professional involved in your care.
