Help to find the right care and support for you

Living with a terminal illness can bring a range of emotions, and choosing the care best for you might seem overwhelming. For this reason, Saint Michael’s is on hand to explain your options and help find the right care and support to meet your individual needs, lifestyle and wishes.

We help people living with terminal illness to overcome challenges when their needs become more complex and their usual care team feel that specialist support would be beneficial. For example, this may be support to manage complex symptoms, or emotional support to express and understand feelings and concerns.

Saint Michael’s works closely with our community colleagues and we encourage you to talk to them about whether Saint Michael’s is right for you, and when might be the best time to access our services. If you find that a Saint Michael’s service isn’t right for you, we will support you to explore other options, either within Saint Michael’s own services, or through our close working links with local health and social care providers.
