Description

Can your school, nursery, or youth group help Santa round up his reindeer this Christmas? Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate is inviting schools, nurseries, and youth groups across our community to join in the festive fun with a Reindeer Run and raise essential funds to support end-of-life care!

Attention all Dashers, Prancers, Vixens, Comets, Cupids, Donners, Blitzens, and Rudolphs!

We’re excited to announce our new Reindeer Run taking place for the first time this year and we’re looking for enthusiastic new recruits to join in the holiday spirit and help us make a difference.

By participating in the Reindeer Dash,  you’ll help Saint Michael’s Hospice provide exceptional care and support to patients, carers, and families. Over the years, our wonderful fundraising community has come together to create magical and fun-filled events for children across Harrogate, spreading joy and making a tangible impact.

How it works:

The Reindeer Run is a festive, fun-filled activity for children to enjoy as they gear up for the holiday season while supporting a meaningful cause. You can decide on the distance, route, date, and time that suits your school, nursery, or group best. The event is inclusive and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making it easy for everyone to gallop, trot, and prance their way to raising funds for Saint Michael’s.

Schools can integrate the Reindeer Run into their physical education lessons or outdoor activities, bringing an extra dose of holiday excitement to their routine. Children can collect sponsorships to support Saint Michael’s Hospice before taking part in the run.

Each child will receive a pair of reindeer antlers and a certificate of appreciation as a thank-you for their efforts.

What you’ll receive: When you sign up for the Reindeer Run, you’ll receive:

A free set of reindeer antlers for each child participating.

A Reindeer Run flyer with campaign details to share with parents.

A personalised Reindeer Run envelope for collecting donations, plus a JustGiving campaign page for your school, nursery, or community group.

A Certificate of Thanks for each child.

Our Community Fundraisers would be delighted to visit your school, share the impact of your support with the children, and even take part in a grand cheque presentation ceremony.
