Rob Burrow, former Leeds Rhinos player, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) in late 2019. Since then, Rob and his family have supported other families living with MND by raising funds and vital awareness.
At Saint Michael’s, we are proud to offer information and support for patients and families living with MND, from diagnosis. To find out more about the MND services provided at Saint Michael’s, you can visit www.saintmichaelshospice.org/how-we-help/mnd-clinical-nurse-specialist.
We are delighted to have 10 places available in 2023’s race, with each runner raising £500 to support local families living with terminal illness and bereavement. The event will see a total of 7,777 runners take on 26.2 miles through Leeds, Rob’s home city, on this brand-new route that starts and finishes at Headingley Stadium.
This May, join #TeamPurple and take on this exciting event to help us continue to be there for local people when it matters most. Our friendly team are here to support you along the way with event updates, top training tips and fundraising advice.
