Saint Michael's Hospice

Climb Pen-y-Ghent.
This challenge is a little easier than our Three Peaks challenge, but no less rewarding.
This exclusive event offers an experienced Mountain Leader to guide and support you to complete the route up to the summit of Pen-y-Ghent, one of the famous 'Yorkshire Three Peaks’. A circular route is taken from/to Horton-in-Ribblesdale over Pen-y-Ghent, taking in the summit at 2,277ft (694m).

The route is approximately 10km (6.2miles) long with 1607ft (490m) of ascent and will take most people between 4 to 6 hours to complete. You'll set off at 10am for an unforgettable day out.

Sponsorship you raise will help local people living with terminal illness and bereavement. We ask you to raise £100 each or more if possible.

We'll be with you every step of the way, from raising funds to training advice, and there cheering you on at the event.

You'll receive expert support from our guides at Large Outdoors, an event t-shirt, snacks and refreshments on route.
