Saint Michael’s Inpatient Unit

Inpatient care

Our inpatient team support people living with terminal illness to manage complex symptoms before returning home, or to receive care in their final weeks and days.

Below, you can see pictures from our hospice. The building overlooks the picturesque and tranquil Crimple Valley in Harrogate. Those staying with us and their visitors are welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Saint Michael's inpatient unit has 10 individual bedrooms, each with high-quality bathroom facilities. We also have space for family and friends to relax or take a break including a snug and visitor kitchen.

When people are living with terminal illness, creating positive memories together with loved ones can be particularly meaningful. From weddings to birthday celebrations, or special meals, our clinical and wellbeing teams facilitate connections, visits and special time together for our patients.
