Our inpatient unit overlooks the picturesque and tranquil Crimple Valley in Harrogate. We have 10 individual rooms, each with high-quality bathroom facilities.
Each room provides a comfortable and safe space for you to receive the highest standard of care. As well as furniture designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind, each room features air conditioning, a telephone, TV and WiFi internet access. During your stay, our expert catering team are keen to create meals you can enjoy.
What matters to you, matters to us.
At Saint Michael’s we know that often people wish to receive care and support in the place they call home, in familiar surroundings with family, friends and the things that matter to them.
As part of our HOME service, Saint Michael's healthcare assistants visit people in their own homes to offer support with personal care, daily activities such as bathing and eating, and the monitoring and management of symptoms.
The service helps people to return from hospital sooner, feel more comfortable, and achieve their wish to stay in their preferred place of care for as long as possible.

"After several years of illness and knowing she was dying, Dora wanted to die at home. I personally was overwhelmed by the incredible care that Dora received in her last days. In these rather strange Covid-19 times, we forget that such beautiful care is still being seamlessly provided as indeed it was for Dora by the Saint Michael’s HOME team. They were all working together to provide the most loving end of life care, just as Dora had given to others, and as a result of that care, Dora was able to die at home."
