Saint Michael's Day Therapy
Day therapy at Saint Michael’s Hospice, Harrogate, is for people with terminal illness who are living at home. We understand that living with terminal illness affects the whole person and can not only be physically challenging but it may also be isolating and can zap confidence.
By coming to Saint Michael’s Hospice for the day a patient will have access to a range of experts who can help with any physical, emotional, social or spiritual concerns a person may be having. We can also offer practical advice and support, if needed.
During day therapy people also have the chance meet other individuals in a similar situation, share experiences and continue a healthy social life. As well as making new friends, patients can find out information, be pampered and take part in a range of activities.
Day therapy at Saint Michael’s Hospice, in Crimple Valley, Harrogate, operates from Monday to Thursday between 10am and 3pm. Patients normally attend one day a week. Transport can be arranged.
Day therapy is free to patients and their families and is available to people living in the Harrogate district, who are 18-year-old and upwards.
Making an impact every day:
Each year Saint Michael’s offers around 2700 day therapy sessions.
